Natural formations can have rounded ends and look like fingers - hence the collector's name \"Prehnite Fingers\" for some unique pieces.  Prehnite is a member of a sub-class of Zeolites, called Phyllosillicates.  Prehnite is formed as a result of low grade metamorphism usually as a result of hydrothermal processes.  Like many zeolite, Prehnite will give off water when heated, but it cannot gain the water back like they can.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePrehnite has a gentle energy that is attuned to the heart chakra.
